5. Do you currently plan to invest in the automation in the following areas?
A substantial percentage of financial institutions worldwide is currently planning to increase the degree of automation for static data. A significant number of respondents consider increasing the level of automation of static data, corporate actions and for price data. Especially the area of corporate actions, the least automated area, is gaining importance: whereas in 2008 28% of the surveyed institutions had plans to automate them, it is already more than a third in 2009.
