The Straight Through Processing of reference data into a banking application has become a standard procedure for more than half of the surveyed firms. The use of golden copy solutions has soared from 43% in 2008 to 51% this year, which shows that more and more enterprises are recognizing the advantages of a central data base. On the other hand, the manual processing of data also saw a slight increase from 32% to 37%. Printing out data and circulating it with the company is common practice in 19% of the surveyed institutions.
