Compared to 2008, the most important standards and regulations surprisingly have lost importance as driving forces for reference data management: only 42% of all interviewees consider MiFID as a driving force for reference data automation and 49% of financial institutions name Basel II. The US Sarbanes-Oxley Act is regarded as a driver by 24% of the surveyed firms. The UCITS III (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities), a EU directive, motivates just 14% of the survey participants to invest in their back office environment.

How many people in your company are concerned with reference data management?
