44% of the survey respondents regard proprietary development as an internal core competency, whereas the percentage of institutions intending to buy a solution and adapt it to their needs has decreased. Outsourcing the development is an option for 16% of the surveyed companies, which is more than at the end of 2008. Furthermore, the outsourcing of the processing remains unpopular: only 9% consider this possibility. 26% state to have no plans to implement a solution.
