Investkredit selects AIM Software for credit risk management

Vienna-based banking group Investkredit Bank AG uses GAIN Risk Management for the calculation of the economic capital as well as for the calculation of credit risk.

Manual processes have now become fully automated, thereby, any potential sources of error during data import and data processing can be minimized. Considerable quality inspection of the imported market and portfolio data accounts substantially for the perfection of the calculated results.

Wolfgang Wainig, Executive Director and Head of Portfolio & Risk Management also took into account the cooperation with a strong and trustful partner enjoying the large clientele when deciding in favour of the Risk Management solution of AIM Software. The combination of a standardized solution together with high flexibility guarantees rapid adjustments to actual and future demands by Basel II. The system is in production since the beginning of January 2005.
