Reference data
-Nowadays the term is used differently worldwide.
Originally the term is used for all data which are a reference from the security to the other security-related data such as; Identifiers, Rating Scheme, Rating Symbol, Instrument Scheme, Sector Scheme, Sector Symbol, Language, Instrument Scheme, Institution Scheme, Meta Data (see profiles on VDFS platform)
-In a narrower sense "basic data". Often prices and events are also included, i.e. when talking about a reference data management system means; processing all of the common data types (basic, pricing and event data.)
