The GAIN DataDesktop
The GAIN DataDesktop is an all-in-one data management platform that enables you to access and process messages of a multitude of the world's leading back-office and real-time data feeds in an automated way.

With its automation, routing, reporting and onscreen display features the GAIN DataDesktop eases the day-to-day data management into OLYMPIC considerably.

To automatically import data from data feed providers into OLYMPIC, the GAIN DataDesktop manages the following steps:

For the time being there are ready-made interfaces available for the data feed VDF from SIX Telekurs. Based on the multi-data-feed-functionality of GAIN, other data feed interfaces are possible.

  • Synchronous ad hoc requests over VDF for static and general information on the security

Technical options
The above described interfaces can be implemented in 2 technical ways:

• With ERI Loader
• With direct database import (except automatic security opening)

Configuration options of the interfaces

• Adjustments of mappings between VDF codes and OLYMPIC internal IDs by using mapping tables.
• Extended configuration possibilities through parameterised scripts.
