Data feed and interface maintenance
For standard data feed connectors supported by GAIN, AIM Software provides an update service for the data feed loaders. Based on our partnership agreements with the supported vendors, AIM Software will be informed of any changes in the data feed releases.
AIM Software will in turn analyse the impact and make the necessary adaptations to the data feed loaders, delivering updates to our clients at least 3 weeks before the official release date from the respective data vendor. For data feeds that are delivered in a format specifically created for the client, AIM Software will also provide the necessary updates upon notification by the client.
Keep Up with Industry Best Practices
We work closely with our active and engaged community of users and partners through formal interactions to continue evolving. This ensures that each application keeps up with the evolution of the industry. With every release, our clients benefit from new functionality, designed by domain-experts within our client community.
The Software Assurance service has been designed to ensure that clients can easily adopt the most recent version of GAIN. Our Clients are supported in the deployment and adoption of the latest version of GAIN on their application, so they can benefit from the software’s latest innovation and functionality. This means that their systems are kept up to date with industry best practices – at all times.
Control the Upgrade of Version of Your System
Traditional approaches to EDM platforms typically result in bespoke systems, where a large portion of the system is highly customized for each client. While the maintenance usually covers the bare minimum, upgrading to a newer version of the software can frequently result in major changes to the application, with important change requests charged by the supplier. This often leads to costly and risky migration projects.
For these reasons, firms tend to postpone version upgrade projects until absolutely necessary. However, not only does this delay the benefiting from new functionality, it also increases the risk and costs associated with the eventual upgrade, as the scope of the project inevitably increases.
AIM Software believes that the adoption of new functionalities should be a more straightforward process and allow the data management function to continue delivering value to enterprise. This is the philosophy behind the Software Assurance.
